He comes to the Recorders Galore days, twice a year, to offer advice and discuss repairs. He also brings music and instruments for sale.

Society of Recorder Players SRP - The society for all recorder players with branches all over the country. The nearest to Shrewsbury is the South Staffordshire branch, meeting on the second Saturday of the month in the Methodist Hall at Penkridge. All players of suitable ability are welcome to join.

Border Marches Early Music Forum BMEMF - The organisers of regular day workshops in Herefordshire and surrounding counties. They publish a quarterly news letter and they cater for all instrumentalists and singers. Visit their website for information.

The Early Music Shop - Specialists in the sale of reproduction instruments, medieval, renaissance and baroque, new and used. They have two shops, one at Saltaire and the other at Snape Maltings. They are very happy to offer advice on purchasing instruments.
